Yes, easily. A fuse doesn't care which way the current is flowing. It will work equally well on AC or DC.
The length of the glass tube determines the voltage rating: the gap formed by the wire melting must be wider than the applied voltage can jump. These ratings are maxima, so a fuse rated for a high voltage can safely be used at a lower voltage. Low-voltage fuses have the terminals quite close together but the HT fuse in a microwave oven, which is rated for 5000 volts, is in a 40mm. tube which is then inside another plastic tube for even more insulation.
