Interfacing 1100 with PIC16F877,can some one suggest a method ?
Could you provide detailed description of interfacing microcontrollers with 1100 and sending text messages to specified numbers. A pre-saved message is sent to specified numbers when the MCU receives an input signal.
Please help me with interfacing. I can code fairly well. Just the interfacing schematic and stuff is difficult to find.
Hmmmm, sounds like an alarm system with automatic call-out....
To interface the Nokia (I assume) 1100 you need a Nokia data transfer cable model CA45.
But this cable is usually intended to interface with a PCs USB, and comes with the relevant driver software.
I therefore have no idea about the data transfer protocols for all the possible uses, like internet access, exchange emails, edit your phone book, and SMS, and so on....
I actually gave up using a cell phone, and went for a "MultiModem" MTCBA-C wireless GSM modem instead, for which you get decent data sheets.

Never has there been a time like the present, where the consumer electronics department is filled with rivalry and advancement. The evolution of consumer electronics, high definition displays, digital broadcasts, displays and media is happening at an increasingly rapid pace. From analog to electronic, consumer electronics are now evolving with (Wireless Fidelity) technology. Are you concerned about obtaining the latest technology when you make your next purchase in consumer electronics? Fundamentally, the changes in the consumer electronics industry are not being driven by product evolution, but by fluctuations in the industries business models. One of the biggest contributions to consumer electronics, from the Internet is that it has paved the way for the development of more convenient ways to communicate such as through e-mail, chat and video conferencing. Now for the fun part the consumer electronics that entertain us!
